The International Fathers’ Association was created by Anna Pierre, RN MPH, Author, Publisher of The Royal Connection Lifestyle Magazine, Former Florida Senate District 38 Health Task Force Vice Chair & Former 2013 City of North Miami Candidate for Mayor.
Though Anna Pierre is currently living in the United States, her heart still belongs to the motherland, the Republic of Haiti in the Caribbean. Third in line of nine siblings, her life’s history has been as diverse as her country’s. From singer/songwriter (most of her music is peppered with the flavoring of the island), to nurse, caretaker, entrepreneur, humanitarian – and author, she has never been one to sit on her laurels and allow life to come to her.
Though she has been living in The US, her adopted country since 1981 – Her book: You Know You’re Haitian If… / Vous Etes Haitiens Si… contains Anna’s voice speaking pure, unconditional love for her beloved homeland. “This is my journey and my desire to share my amazing birth country with the world. History is set in stone and I cannot rewrite it. But I can share it with you to the best of my ability and with great respect for my people” she stated.
Anna’s articles have been published in the New York-based Haiti Observateur Newspaper, The Miami Times & “La Rive Gauche D’Haiti: Le Magazine des Artistes Haitiens” She is a graduate of Miami Dade College Nursing Program.
